RESUMEN Las empresas familiares tienen gran importancia social y económica en el mundo, ya que representan casi el 90 % de los negocios en diversas regiones, generan más de la mitad del empleo y producen más de dos terceras partes del Producto Interno Bruto en muchos países. Suelen basarse en su experiencia comercial y en el conocimiento de su clientela, pero deben contar con un plan de estrategias fiscales para asegurar su supervivencia, ya que se desarrollan en ambientes cada vez más competitivos e impredecibles. El objetivo de esta investigación fue mostrar la intención de uso de estrategias fiscales por las empresas de corte familiar en el municipio de El Mante, ubicado al sur de Tamaulipas, México, y su relación con el conocimiento empresarial, legal y directivo de sus propietarios. Se recogieron las respuestas obtenidas en entrevista directa con los propietarios o directores de negocios, utilizando un cuestionario con escalas de Likert validado y se aplicaron las pruebas estadísticas recomendadas. Se encontró suficiente dominio de los empresarios en los temas de administración del negocio familiar, normas y actores relacionados con el comercio, así como suficiente grado de acuerdo en la intención del uso de estrategias fiscales y planes de negocios, competencias que pueden acrecentarse laborando para la empresa familiar. El principal hallazgo es la evidencia de una débil correlación entre el conocimiento legal y directivo de los propietarios de empresas familiares con el uso de las estrategias fiscales, así como una muy débil correlación con el conocimiento empresarial. La intención de uso de estrategias fiscales requiere de tales conocimientos por parte de los empresarios, quienes toman decisiones considerando los intereses de la familia, estiman necesaria la planeación financiera y aprovechan la bondad de las estrategias fiscales.


ABSTRACT Family-owned businesses have paramount social and economic importance worldwide since they represent almost 90 % of businesses in various regions, generate more than half of the employment and produce more than two-thirds of the Gross Domestic Product in many countries. Decisions are based on their commercial experience and knowledge of their customer base. However, they must also employ a fiscal strategy to ensure their subsistence, since they face each more competitive and unpredictable environment. The objective of this research was to show the intention to use tax strategies by family businesses in the municipality of El Mante, located in Southern Tamaulipas, Mexico, and its relationship with the entrepreneurial, legal, and managerial knowledge of their owners. Responses were collected through a direct interview with the business owners or the CEO. Additionally, a questionnaire with validated Likert scales was used, and the recommended statistical tests were administered. Findings indicate that there is sufficient mastery of entrepreneurs in areas such as the management of the family business, regulations and actors related to trade, as well as a sufficient degree of agreement regarding the intention to use fiscal strategies and business plans, competencies that can be increased by working for the family business. The main finding is the evidence of a weak correlation between the legal and managerial knowledge of family business owners with the use of tax strategies, as well as a very weak correlation with entrepreneurial knowledge. The intention to use tax strategies requires such knowledge by business owners, who make decisions based on family's interests, consider financial planning as necessary and take advantage of the benevolence of tax strategies.

ABSTRACT

Background: Obesity is described as a build-up of abnormal or excessive fat that risks life. A body mass index (BMI) is a screening tool for overweight and obesity. For a long time, BMI has been used as a marker to measure obesity. However, a significant limitation of using BMI is its failure to differentiate between a high body fat content and preserved or increased lean mass, especially in patients or subjects with a BMI <30 kg/m2. Normal weight obese (NWO) is such individuals who have high fat content but a normal BMI. To identify such individuals and to save them from morbidity associated with obesity, this study was carried out. Aims and Objectives: The objective of the study was to estimate the prevalence of NWO in healthy young adults (aged between 18 and 30 years) and to suggest the methods of primary prevention for obesity. Materials and Methods: In this observational cross-sectional study, the 324 subjects were selected randomly from the residents, students, and employees of Swami Vivekananda Subharti University. Subjects were chosen according to the study’s inclusion and exclusion criteria and also, based on the self-structure questionnaire. A general and systemic examination was carried out. The body composition of these subjects was done by bioelectric impedance analyzer BODY STAT QUAD SCAN 4000. Data were analysis using R-software (1.25 version), and unpaired t-test was applied. P < 0.05 was taken as significant in this study. Results: The prevalence of NWO in males was found to be 24.6% and females to be 13.4%. The body composition parameters of NWO and NWNO differed significantly. Conclusion: The increase rate of NWO is reason for concern and routine screening of body composition parameters should be done at health setups to identify that these NWO individuals and timely interventions can be made.

The rulers of the country are keen in establishing a high-tech oriented EPS system supported by the platform of knowledge management (KM) system. ABSTRACT

The new business forms are the new patterns of the job market extended by the use of mobile internet, big data, cloud computing, and other information technologies in the context of a new round of information technology development. In recent years, under the catalysis of the new employment model, a large number of new business employees have emerged such as food delivery riders, couriers, and online car-hailing drivers, whose employment forms are flexible and don’t fully conform to the establishment of labor relations with the employers, and whose problem of overtime work is common. The employment characteristics of new business forms of "focusing on performance and ignoring responsibility" make workers at great risks of occupational injuries and occupational health problems such as work-related musculoskeletal disorders, mental disorders, and overwork. However, the current research on occupational safety and health of workers in new business forms is insufficient, and the experience of institutional practice and supervision is also limited. Therefore, based on relevant research progress at home and abroad, this paper discussed the health injuries of workers in new business forms, summarized associated influencing factors from four aspects: employment form, employment affiliation, long working hours exposure, and institutional guarantee, and then proposed countermeasures to strengthen occupational safety and health protection of workers. For the current problems in the employment of new business forms, the government, enterprises, and workers need to work together to improve the legal and regulatory system for employment of new business forms, and standardize occupational safety and health management, thus effectively protect the occupational safety and health rights and interests of workers in new business forms.

ABSTRACT

At present, there are still some problems in the standardized residency training. Some standardized training bases often regard the resident trainees as ordinary practitioners, and devote their time and energy to the daily medical procedural work without giving enough training and teaching, ignoring the basic skills training of resident trainees. Therefore, this study constructed an active knowledge push system based on business scenarios. The system mainly includes three parts: sensitive operation identification layer, knowledge index layer and resource push layer in order to cultivate the norms of diagnosis and treatment of standardized training students and reasonably solve the problem of inconvenient resource acquisition in clinical work. Through the preliminary application, it was found that the system has effectively improved the mini-clinical evaluation exercise (Mini-CEX) score of the trainees and achieved good results.

With business activities expanding and number of business contracts growing, the management of multi-campus hospitals is faced with constantly escalating requirements for risk prevention and control within the hospital. Being an important part of hospital internal management, the internal audit plays an irreplaceable role in the high-quality development of hospitals. The authors elaborated on the value of business contract audit in the management of multi-campus hospitals from three dimensions of internal control, risk management and hospital added value, introduced the practices by the Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine in the management of its multi-campus management since 2018, by adopting the strategy of architecture integration, rule homogenization, process standardization, and vertical supervision, and put forward suggestions from three aspects, including the practical difficulties in the participation process, the dynamic adjustment of role positioning, and the development of better integrating business contract auditing into multi-campus hospital management.

Objective:In order to reduce the transactional burden of scientific researchers and ensure the researchers concentrate on their scientific research, the hospital implemented the whole-process management and optimization of the scientific research approval process based on the DingTalk platform to improve the efficiency of scientific research.Methods:We sorted out the list of routine work in the implementation of scientific research projects and analyzed the key points affecting the efficiency of scientific research management, specifically the processes of reimbursement of scientific research funds, budget adjustment, paper submission approval, and research drug application, then we developed corresponding modules on the DingTalk platform.Results:In 2021, the hospital approved 3 214 scientific research funding reimbursements, including 1 917 approvals below 5 000 yuan, with a median approval time of 19 (5~28) hours, 1 297 approvals above 5 000 yuan, with a median approval time of 26 (10~50) hours. In addition, 17 budget adjustments, 456 paper submissions, and 31 research drug applications were approved on the DingTalk platform, resulting in a smooth overall approval process, saving the time costs of medical staff and improving work efficiency.Conclusions:The scientific research approval management based on this platform realizes the concept of refined management, which can meet the needs of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control and effectively promote the high-quality development of hospital scientific research management.

ABSTRACT

Se presenta la propuesta de diseño de un Programa Virtual en Archivística e Inteligencia de Negocios para la Universidad de La Salle, de Bogotá-Colombia. Dicha propuesta se asume como un ejercicio curricular disruptivo, debido a que se pretende generar articulaciones entre los conocimientos y las prácticas típicamente archivísticas-informacionales-organizacionales con el conocimiento, métodos y técnicas de la inteligencia de negocios y, con ello, formar un profesional desde un enfoque que potencie el carácter estratégico de la toma de decisiones en todo tipo de instituciones, en conexión con las necesidades socio-productivas. La comparación de programas de pregrado, el análisis de tendencias conceptuales y metódicas de ambos campos, la caracterización de la demanda académico-profesional para la modalidad virtual y los criterios técnico-curriculares-normativos del Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Colombia, así como los lineamientos de la Universidad de La Salle fueron los elementos sustantivos de la metodología. Los principales resultados se traducen en el perfil profesional por competencias, resultados de aprendizaje, plan de estudios y aspectos de la gestión curricular del programa que se propone. Como conclusión se enfatiza en lo disruptivo como el elemento transversal que debe guiar el diseño y planeación de programas académicos en Ciencias de la Información, los cuales deben ofrecer alternativas que estén en sintonía con las demandas sociales, configuradas a partir de las transformaciones producidas por las tecnologías digitales, en articulación con procesos analíticos de alto valor agregado en las organizaciones(AU)


A design proposal of Virtual Program in Archiving and Business Intelligence is presented for Universidad de La Salle, in Bogotá, Colombia. Said proposal is assumed as a disruptive curricular exercise, since it is intended to generate articulations between typically archival-informational-organizational knowledge and practices with the knowledge, methods and techniques of business intelligence and, with this, training a professional from an approach that enhances the strategic nature of decision-making in all kinds of institutions, in connection with socio-productive needs. The comparison of undergraduate programs, the analysis of conceptual and methodical trends of both fields, the characterization of the academic-professional demand for the virtual modality and the technical-curricular-regulatory criteria of Colombia National Ministry of Education, as well as the guidelines from the Universidad de La Salle were the major methodological elements. The main results are translated into the professional profile by competencies, learning outcomes, study plan and aspects of the curricular management of the proposed program. In conclusion, disruption is emphasized as the transversal element that must guide designing and planning academic programs in Information Sciences, which must offer alternatives that are in tune with social demands, shaped from the transformations produced by the digital technologies, in coordination with analytical processes of high added value in organizations(AU)

Resumo Este artigo tem como objeto de análise a implantação da Lei Complementar nº 123, de 2006 (LC nº 123/2006), que instituiu o Estatuto Nacional da Microempresa e da Empresa de Pequeno Porte (MPE), por municípios paulistas. Utilizou-se o referencial teórico de difusão de políticas públicas tendo como objetivo estudar seu processo de adoção, observando os diferentes contextos e momentos de coerção previstos na legislação federal. Com base nas discussões teóricas relacionadas com o mecanismo de difusão chamado de coerção, respondeu-se a seguinte pergunta: qual é a influência do mecanismo de coerção vertical na difusão da Lei Geral da MPE nos municípios paulistas? A técnica "análise de sobrevivência" foi aplicada para identificar fatores explicativos da difusão da política, considerando variáveis de desenho institucional, políticas e partidárias, efeito vizinhança, necessidade da política, organizações/atores sociais e fatores estruturais. Os resultados demonstram que, conforme varia o desenho institucional de coerção, mudam os fatores explicativos da difusão dessa política na ponta, de modo que os aspectos locais, incluindo atores sociais, fatores regionais e questões estruturais, importam para a difusão, variando conforme o contexto coercitivo.


Resumen Este artículo analiza la implementación de la Ley General de las Micro y Pequeñas Empresas por parte de los municipios de São Paulo. Se utilizó la teoría de la difusión de políticas, con el objetivo de estudiar el proceso de adopción de esta política pública, observando los diferentes contextos y momentos de coerción previstos en la legislación federal. A partir de las discusiones teóricas relacionadas con el mecanismo de difusión denominado coerción, se respondió a la siguiente pregunta: ¿cuál es la influencia del mecanismo de coacción vertical en la difusión de la mencionada ley en los municipios de São Paulo? Se aplicó la técnica de análisis de supervivencia para identificar factores explicativos de la difusión de políticas, considerando variables institucionales, políticas y partidarias, efecto barrio, necesidad de políticas, organizaciones/actores sociales y factores estructurales. Los resultados muestran que a medida que varía el diseño institucional de coerción, los factores explicativos de la difusión de esta política al final cambian, de modo que los aspectos locales, incluidos los actores sociales, los factores regionales y los problemas estructurales importan para la difusión, variando de acuerdo con el contexto coercitivo.


Abstract This article analyzes the implementation of the General Law for Micro and Small Business by municipalities in São Paulo. The theory of policy diffusion was used to study the process of adopting this public policy in the different contexts of coercion. The article presents theoretical discussions on the diffusion mechanism "coercion" and answers the question: what is the influence of the vertical coercion mechanism in the diffusion of the General Law in the municipalities of São Paulo? The survival analysis technique was applied to identify explanatory factors of policy diffusion, considering institutional, political, and party design variables, neighborhood effect, internal needs, organizations/social actors, and structural factors. The results show that as the institutional rules of coercion vary, the explanatory factors of the diffusion change so that local aspects, including social actors, regional factors, and structural issues, matter for the diffusion, varying according to the coercive context.

ABSTRACT

El desarrollo constante de la ciencia hace necesario realizar estudios que permitan conocer su desarrollo global y por campos o sectores geográficos. Se presenta un estudio bibliométrico sobre la producción científica publicada en las revistas latinoamericanas de la categoría Business, Management and Accounting (BMA) del Scimago Journal Rank y con información almacenada en la base de datos SCOPUS. Para llevar a cabo este estudio, se descargaron de SCOPUS los datos relativos a los documentos indexados en dicha base de datos; posteriormente, y a partir del recuento de frecuencias, se identificaron los patrones de producción de documentos por revista y por año, los países más productivos, los indicadores de colaboración en la autoría y el tipo de colaboración. Se halló un incremento en la coautoría y los índices de colaboración, así como en la colaboración internacional. La producción ha tenido un considerable aumento en el periodo comprendido entre los años 1996 y 2010. Si bien los índices de colaboración han aumentado, esta colaboración se efectúa, principalmente, entre países latinoamericanos.


Science's constant development makes it necessary to carry out studies that allow us to understand its global development, as well as the level of development of each field and the scientific production of a certain geographical area. The bibliometric study presented focuses on the scientific production published in Latin American journals within the Business, Management and Accounting (BMA) category of the Scimago Journal Rank and the information stored in the SCOPUS database. Thus, the information regarding the documents indexed in the SCOPUS database was downloaded. The patterns of document production per journal and per year were identified based on a frequency count. The most productive countries, the degree of collaboration and the type of collaboration were also identified. An increase in co-authorship and collaboration rates was pointed out, as well as an increase in international collaboration. There has been a considerable increase in the production between 1996 and 2010. Although the collaboration rates have increased, this collaboration is mainly maintained between Latin American countries.

Resumen La publicidad es una parte de la mercadotecnia que ha demostrado, durante décadas y tal vez siglos, ser efectiva para la productividad de los negocios. En México, la pandemia de COVID-19, desde el mes de abril de 2020 y al menos a mayo de 2021, ha dejado estragos comerciales y empresariales diversos, que se pueden apreciar en la quiebra de algunos negocios y en el nacimiento o desarrollo de otros. La resiliencia de las empresas, capacidad de sobreponerse a las adversidades del entorno, ha sido un tema importante durante la pandemia. El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar en qué medida impacta la publicidad, tanto tradicional como digital, en la resiliencia de las empresas. Se realizó una investigación empírica cuantitativa en el mes de mayo de 2021, en la que se aplicó un cuestionario en línea de 30 ítems a una muestra de 302 micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas de la zona sur del estado de Tamaulipas, México. Los resultados mostraron que las empresas encuestadas manifestaron utilizar casi en la misma proporción la publicidad tradicional y digital. Se encontró además una correlación significativa y positiva entre los dos tipos de publicidad y la resiliencia de las empresas, por lo que se puede recomendar a los empresarios definir estrategias encaminadas a utilizar todos los medios publicitarios para anunciarse y así incrementar la posibilidad de tener sostenibilidad empresarial, en particular en tiempos adversos.


Abstract Advertising is a part of marketing that has proved over decades, and perhaps centuries, to be effective for business productivity. The COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico, which paused large numbers of economic activities from April 2020 to at least May 2021, has left diverse commercial and business disruptions. These can be seen in the bankruptcy of some businesses and in the birth or development of others. The resilience of enterprises, understood as the capacity to overcome the adversities of the environment has been an important topic during the pandemic. The aim of this work was to determine the extent to which both, conventional and digital advertising impact on the resilience of enterprises. An empirical quantitative investigation was carried out in May 2021, in which a 30-item online questionnaire was administered to a sample of 302 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises located in the southern region of Tamaulipas, Mexico. Results showed that the surveyed companies claimed that they use conventional and virtual advertising in almost the same proportion. In addition, a significant positive correlation was found between the use of the two types of advertising and the resilience of enterprises. Therefore, it is advisable for entrepreneurs to define strategies that lead to the use of all advertising mediums in order to increase the possibility of achieving entrepreneurial sustainability, especially in adverse circumstances.

Introducción: La gerencia empresarial, a lo largo de la historia, se ha preocupado por alcanzar objetivos y metas mediante la utilización de estrategias con el fin de tratar de garantizar los réditos que le permitan seguir trabajando en el tiempo. El interés de lograr alcanzar la eficiencia empresarial ha sido clave para que los investigadores modernos hayan realizado importantes aportes a la epistemología de las ciencias administrativas. Surge entonces la pregunta en la mente de los administradores: ¿Es de importancia la aplicación de indicadores claves de desempeño en la gerencia estratégica de las empresas de salud? Los indicadores claves de desempeño, o KPIs por sus siglas en inglés, forman parte del conjunto de métricos que la administración moderna utiliza para saber si el negocio está logrando los objetivos y metas planteadas por la gerencia. El tablero de mando integral de Kaplan y Norton, desde su aparición en el año de 1992, ha sido también de gran valor para la gerencia estratégica empresarial. Objetivo: Presentar la importancia que tiene la utilización de los indicadores claves de desempeño al ser aplicados en la gerencia estratégica de las empresas de salud. Metodología: Basada en el paradigma cualitativo-descriptivo de investigación acción, el cual se sustentó en literatura científica publicada entre los años 2017 y 2021 apoyado en las plataformas Google Scholar y SciELO. Los criterios de inclusión fueron artículos y textos que abordaran los temas de: indicadores claves de desempeño, inteligencia de negocios, gerencia estratégica y tablero de mando integral. Resultado y Conclusiones: El continuo monitoreo del ambiente competitivo en el que la empresa está inmerso, permite la adaptación de los métricos de acuerdo con los cambios del entorno. En la medida en que los métricos permitan a la empresa volverse líquida, es decir, facilitar que se amolde a los cambios en el medioambiente económico, se facilitará la toma de decisiones de negocios eficaces y oportunas.


Introduction: Business management throughout history has been concerned with achieving objectives and goals, through the use of strategies in order to try to guarantee the revenues that allow it to continue operating over time. The interest in achieving business efficiency has been key for modern researchers to have made important contributions to the epistemology of administrative sciences. The question then arises in the minds of administrators: Is it important to apply key performance indicators in the strategic management of health companies? Key performance indicators, or KPIs for its acronym in English, are part of the set of metrics that modern management uses to know if the business is achieving the objectives and goals set by senior management. Kaplan and Norton's Balanced Scorecard, since its appearance in 1992, has also been of great value for strategic business management. Objective: To present the importance of the use of key performance indicators when applied in the strategic management of health companies Methodology: Based on the qualitative-descriptive and hermeneutical paradigm in the which was based on studies between 2017 and 2021 supported by the Google Scholar and SciELO platforms. The inclusion criteria were articles and texts that addressed the topics of: key performance indicators, business intelligence, strategic management and balanced scorecard. Results and Conclusions: The continuous monitoring of the competitive environment in which the company is immersed, allows the adaptation of the metrics according to changes in the environment. To the extent that the metrics allow the company to become liquid, that is, make it easier to adapt to changes in the economic environment, effective and timely business decision-making will be facilitated.

ABSTRACT

Medical colleges have become a business industry nowadays, where rich businessmen in the name of trust and foundations are resorting to making huge profits by collecting heavy amount of capitation fees from students without providing quality education to them. It has been observed especially in some of the recently established medical colleges, that the regulations laid by National Medical Council are flouted, and these medical colleges are run with very little patients in the hospital, poor infrastructure and huge number of "Ghost faculties", who are available only during the time of inspection by the regulatory authorities. The regular faculties who are working are overburdened with teaching work, and are also denied relieving and experience letter if they submit their resignation. There is a great need for the regulatory authorities to have a strict scrutiny on such institutions and implement remedial measures to correct these irregularities.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é levantar as características demográficas dos prefeitos eleitos, enfatizando os candidatos que se declaram empresários, e analisar se esse perfil tem melhores resultados quanto ao desempenho, medidos com base na situação fiscal e no Índice de Educação Básica (IDEB) do município. Para tanto, o trabalho foi dividido em duas partes. Na primeira, por meio de regressão logística, buscou-se encontrar o perfil do candidato eleito, centrando-se no fato de ele ser empresário. Na segunda seção do artigo, com o emprego da metodologia de regressão multinível, foi analisado se tal perfil escolhido pelos eleitores era responsável por um desempenho superior. Com relação aos resultados, apesar de os empresários constituírem a maioria entre os candidatos, essa característica não foi significativa para o sucesso eleitoral. Na segunda parte da pesquisa, de modo geral os resultados não encontraram correlação entre o perfil dos eleitos e o desempenho da gestão municipal. Somente a idade do prefeito foi significativa na questão fiscal dos municípios. Dessa forma, os empresários não apresentam resultados diferentes da média, o que permite pressupor que esse grupo não tem melhores habilidades e julgamentos.


Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es sondear las características demográficas de los alcaldes electos elegidos, con énfasis en los candidatos que se declaran emprendedores, y analizar si este perfil tiene mejores resultados de desempeño, medido por la situación fiscal del municipio y el puntaje del IDEB (Índice de Desarrollo de la Educación Básica). Para ello, el trabajo se dividió en dos partes. En la primera, mediante regresión logística, se buscó encontrar el perfil del candidato elegido. En la segunda parte del artículo se analizó si el perfil elegido por los votantes era responsable de un desempeño superior. La metodología utilizada fue la de regresión multinivel. En cuanto a los resultados, a pesar de que los empresarios fueron mayoría entre los candidatos, esta característica no fue significativa para explicar el éxito electoral. En general, en la segunda parte de la investigación, los resultados no demostraron correlación entre el perfil de los elegidos y el desempeño de la gestión municipal. Solo la edad del alcalde fue significativa para explicar el tema fiscal de los municipios. De esta forma, los emprendedores no presentan resultados diferentes a la media, lo que nos permite concluir que este grupo no tiene mejores habilidades y juicios. Entre las limitaciones de este trabajo, está la cuestión de que la variable "emprendedor" haya sido declarada libremente por los candidatos.


Abstract This study analyzes the demographic characteristics of elected mayors in Brazil, emphasizing those who are business owners. The research observes whether mayors with a background as business owners obtain better performance in office, which is evaluated through the municipality's fiscal situation and the IDEB (basic education development index) score. The research was conducted in two parts. The first part used logistic regression and sought to identify the profile of elected mayors. The second part analyzed whether mayors who were business owners obtained a superior performance using the multilevel regression model. The study observed that the majority of mayors had a background as business owners, but this characteristic was not significant to explain electoral success. The results of the second part did not find a correlation between mayors who are business owners and their performance. The only demographic characteristic relevant to explain differences in municipalities' fiscal results was the mayor's age. Therefore, mayors who were business owners did not present results different from those who have other backgrounds, which allows us to assume that this group does not have better skills and judgments. One of the limitations of this study is that the characteristic of being a business owner was obtained by self-declaration.

ABSTRACT

Resumo Objetivou-se analisar espacialmente a distribuição de estabelecimentos de aquisição de alimentos para consumo imediato no entorno do Programa Academia da Saúde (PAS) de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil, segundo Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano Municipal (IDHM). Estudo ecológico tendo o PAS como unidade de análise. Foram avaliados estabelecimentos de aquisição de alimentos para consumo imediato contidos em buffer circular com raio de 900 metros a partir das 77 unidades do PAS em funcionamento. Endereços e tipos de estabelecimento foram obtidos em lista pública e verificados em auditoria virtual. Mapas de Kernel temático foram elaborados. Identificou-se 3.050 estabelecimentos no entorno das unidades do PAS. Maiores densidades foram observadas na região Centro-sul da cidade e em áreas com IDHM alto e muito alto. Foi elevada a densidade de estabelecimentos comerciais de venda de alimentos para consumo imediato no entorno das unidades do PAS, sobretudo em áreas mais ricas. Os resultados podem subsidiar ações que visem fortalecer o PAS como promotor de ambientes alimentares saudáveis. Ademais, reforça a necessidade de políticas públicas equânimes de abastecimento e regulação visando promover o acesso à alimentação adequada e saudável para todos.


Abstract The aim of this study was to spatially examine the distribution of establishments for the acquisition of food that is ready to consume around the Health Academy Program (PAS) in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, according to the Municipal Human Development Index (IDH-M).This is an ecological study with the PAS as the unit of analysis. The establishments contained in a circular buffer with a radius of 900 meters from the 77 units of the PAS in operation were evaluated. Address and type of establishment data were obtained from a public list and verified in a virtual audit. Thematic kernel maps were used. A total of 3,050 establishments were identified around the PAS units. Higher densities were observed around units located in the city's south-central region and in areas with high and very high IDH-M. There was a high density of establishments selling ready-to-consume foods around the PAS units, especially in the wealthier parts of the city. These results are useful in supporting the planning of actions aimed at strengthening the PAS as a promoter of healthy eating environments. Further, it reinforces the need for equitable public policies for supply and regulation, aiming to promote access to adequate and healthy food for all.

ABSTRACT

Este trabajo se propone analizar el impacto de la pandemia por COVID-19 en los registros de creación de nuevas empresas en el departamento del Magdalena (Colombia) principalmente entre el 2019 y 2020, de la misma manera se desarrolla un análisis de las medidas de control epidemiológico a nivel nacional y a nivel departamental para comprender de mejor manera las iniciativas de contención de la COVID-19. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo, se tomaron como referencia los datos de creación de empresas de los últimos cinco años (2016 ­ 2020) en el Magdalena; así como se analizaron medidas para el control epidemiológico a nivel nacional (prevenir, mitigar, y suprimir), así como las adoptadas específicamente para el Magdalena. Entre los principales hallazgos, se encontró que, al contrastar los años 2019 y 2020, hubo una disminución del 2,6% en la creación de nuevas empresas en el departamento del Magdalena, porcentaje que representa 202 unidades productivas menos que en 2019; esta tendencia decreciente en materia de creación de empresas, venía desde 2019, año en el que hubo una caída del 0,8% en los nacimientos de nuevas empresas con respecto al 2018 -62 empresas menos-; la contundente caída en el año 2020 es un reflejo del nefasto efecto de la aparición de la COVID-19 en las dinámicas empresariales en el Magdalena; de otra parte, resaltan medidas de gestión intergremial al igual que las estrategias de apoyo financiero para dinamizar la economía en el Magdalena, así como una cronología prudente en materia de controles epidemiológicos en el Territorio(AU)


This study aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the records of the creation of new companies in the department of Magdalena (Colombia), mainly between 2019 and 2020. In the same way, an analysis of epidemiology control measures is developed at the national and departmental levels to better understand COVID-19 containment initiatives. For the development of this study, the data on business creation of the last five years (2016 - 2020) in Magdalena was taken as a reference; as well as measures for epidemiological control at the national level (prevent, mitigate, and suppress), along with those adopted specifically for Magdalena were analyzed. Among the main findings, it was found that, when comparing the years 2019 and 2020, there was a 2.6% decrease in the creation of new companies in Magdalena, a percentage that represents 202 production units less than in 2019; This downward trend in the creation of companies came from 2019, the year in which there was a 0.8% drop in the establishment of new companies compared to 2018 -62 fewer companies-; the overwhelming drop in 2020 is a reflection of the disastrous effect of the appearance of COVID-19 on business dynamics in Magdalena; On the other hand, the business associations management measures were a key important factor. Additionally, the financial support to boost the economy in Magdalena, as well as a prudent chronology - in terms of epidemiological controls in the Territory(AU)

RESUMEN La apicultura, a nivel mundial, es de gran importancia, por el desempeño que realizan las abejas, como agentes polinizadores del 75 % de los cultivos, que garantizan la seguridad alimentaria de millones de personas. En Colombia, el sector apícola contribuye al fortalecimiento de la economía campesina y promueve la conservación de diferentes ecosistemas estratégicos. Respecto al municipio de Fortul, Arauca, cuenta con una importante zona de reserva forestal y una amplia variabilidad de ecosistemas, aptos para el desarrollo de la apicultura, actividad que, actualmente, se desarrolla por la asociación "Panaldemiel", la cual, requiere un acompañamiento y fortalecimiento de las capacidades organizacionales y gerenciales. Es así, que el objeto de la presente investigación es "fortalecer la gestión administrativa de la Asociación de Apicultores "Panaldemiel", del municipio de Fortul, Arauca", estudio soportado en el método de investigación Acción-participación, bajo la estrategia de estudio de caso, que permite analizar la problemática en un contexto real, facilitando la obtención de información necesaria, para la formulación de herramientas estratégicas, encaminadas a dinamizar el proceso productivo y competitivo de la asociación, en el ámbito local y regional. Se concluye, que la asociación cuenta con un alto porcentaje de aspectos positivos internos y externos que la respalda, de manera significativa; sin embargo, se requiere de un compromiso gubernamental para mitigar la coyuntura de orden público que se vive en esta región.


ABSTRACT Beekeeping worldwide is of great importance for the performance of bees as pollinating agents of 75 % of the crops that guarantee the food security of millions of people. In Colombia, the beekeeping sector contributes to the strengthening of the peasant economy and promotes the conservation of different strategic ecosystems. With respect to the municipality of Fortul-Arauca has an important forest reserve area and wide variability of ecosystems suitable for the development of beekeeping, an activity that is currently developed by the association "Panaldemiel", which requires an accompaniment and strengthening of organizational and managerial capacities, so the purpose of this research is "to strengthen the administrative management of the Association of Beekeepers "Panaldemiel" of the municipality of Fortul-Arauca" study supported by the Action-participation research method, under the case study strategy, which allows analyzing the problem in a real context, facilitating the obtaining of information necessary for the formulation of strategic tools aimed at boosting the productive and competitive process of the association at the local and regional level. It is concluded that the association has a high percentage of internal and external positive aspects that support it significantly, however, a government compromise is required to mitigate the situation of public order that is lived in this region.

ABSTRACT

In this study, the performance of select life insurance companies was analysed by considering a few important parameters like persistency ratio, claim settlement ratio, solvency ratio, current ratio and the total life insurance premium received. The top ?ve private sector life insurance companies were selected based on the new business premium received by them – SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd, Max Life Insurance Company Ltd, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd . The study was conducted for the duration of ?ve years i.e., 2016-17 to 2020-21. The data collected was completely based on secondary sources. Of all the companies chosen for the study, the total premiums received by SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd has shown a signi?cant increase over the years selected for the study and the study also analysed that the persistency ratio for all the ?ve life insurance companies was decreasing over the years though there is an increase in the life insurance premiums received by the companies over the same duration.

Resumo O artigo analisa a Associação Brasileira da Indústria Farmacêutica, entidade empresarial do setor farmacêutico criada para amparar os interesses das indústrias e garantir posições estratégicas no aparelho do Estado, impulsionando políticas favoráveis. A fim de alcançar essa meta, atuou junto ao Estado, de forma lícita e ilícita, para influenciar a agenda pública e para que as pautas das políticas públicas beneficiassem os interesses das suas associadas. O texto tem como objetivo analisar os condicionantes que levaram a sua formação, suas articulações políticas, suas fissuras e tensões internas e sua pressão junto ao Estado restrito para inscrever suas demandas específicas.


Abstract This article analyzes the Associação Brasileira da Indústria Farmacêutica, an association created to represent Brazilian pharmaceutical manufacturers, pursue the interests of the sector, and ensure strategic stances within the government to advance favorable policy. To do so, the association worked with the government (through legal and non-legal means) to influence the public agenda so that public policies benefited the interests of its members. We examine the conditions that led to the creation of this organization, its political connections, schisms and internal tensions, as well as pressure on the limited government to take up its specific demands.

ABSTRACT

In order to complete the information statistics and submission work of designated hospitals with high quality, a hospital uses the agile business intelligence system to carry out information construction, and realize the statistics, analysis and auxiliary management decision-making of COVID-19 patients′ admission data. Based on the low-load and full-volume data capture mechanism, relevant basic data in the background of the hospital information system was extracted, and the admission information visualization and early warning analysis system was built by establishing data relations, data modeling and other methods. The hospital completed 634 batches of data statistics and reporting tasks of 2 943 patients in a timely and efficient manner, and assisted clinical diagnosis and treatment improvement and hospital leadership decision-making by using data analysis, early warning feedback and other functions.
